Health Heroes has proudly partnered with Healthy Schools Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to extend its impact, reaching schools across the region and supporting students in adopting essential healthy habits. This collaboration enables Health Heroes to align with local initiatives aimed at improving the overall health and well-being of children, providing a comprehensive approach to health education.
Through this partnership, Health Heroes has been integrated into the Active Schools Incentive Program, which is designed to encourage schools to implement new and innovative health-focused initiatives. The program, supported by Cambridgeshire County Council Public Health Team, offers schools £500 in funding to commit to two new health initiatives during the academic year. By becoming part of the Active Schools Incentive Program, Health Heroes now plays an integral role in supporting schools to enhance their health education offerings, specifically targeting young children’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
This collaboration has helped Health Heroes reach even more schools, empowering educators to implement the challenge in their classrooms and inspire students to develop healthy, sustainable habits. The partnership with Healthy Schools Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and inclusion in the Active Schools Incentive Program reflects the initiative’s growing influence and reinforces its role in fostering healthier, happier generations of young people across the region.
