Health Heroes is delighted to announce that we have won £2,000 from the Homerton Changemakers Catalyst Fund, along with mentorship from Pooya Kamvari, CEO of HomeRun and Homerton College alumni. This incredible achievement follows a highly competitive pitching process, led by Homerton Changemakers at Homerton College, University of Cambridge. Out of many exceptional applicants, Health Heroes was selected as one of six winners to receive both funding and invaluable mentorship to bring our vision to life.
With this award, we now have three months to refine and expand our initiative with the expert guidance of Pooya Kamvari, whose experience with scaling impactful projects—particularly in working with schools—will provide invaluable insights for our growth.
At the end of the three-month period, Health Heroes will present our progress and developments at the Homerton Changemakers Annual Showcase in September. This prestigious event with industry leaders will allow us to pitch our refined idea and showcase the progress we've made thanks to the funding and mentorship received.
This opportunity is a major milestone for Health Heroes. The £2,000 funding and Pooya’s mentorship are key drivers in helping us scale our impact and empower even more children to adopt lifelong healthy habits. We are incredibly excited about what’s to come and look forward to sharing our journey at the Homerton Changemakers Annual Showcase in September!
